The Vulture belongs to the Frankenstein 2.0 project where the work, from simple painting on cardboard, becomes material thanks to fabrics of various kinds and unsolved canvases which, sectioned and reworked, are implemented in new works, going to recreate, through stratification and use of different materials, the evolutionary principle of man.

Andrea Marchesini Born in Verona, he lives and works in Barbarano Vicentino.

Son of art, he attended his mother's studio at the age of four growing up among the suggestions of painting. He studied art in London by attending museums and exhibitions including the Tate Gallery, approaching above all the work of Turner whose painting of pure light brings him back to the great coloristic lesson of the Venetians. He spent two years in Dublin visiting uncontaminated places with signs of culture that will be the basis for his pictorial series: “Traces” and “City of Silence”; apparitions mixed with lumps, cracks, craters, footprints, stratifications that cross days, years, centuries, millennia, atmospheres of a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic world, places and symbols that are part of the journey of man, where man is absent while the nature regains its own space. In Barcelona he comes into contact with the work of Mirò and with his color world that makes his paintings explode, while in Rome, where he lives and works from 2003 to 2006, he finds the origins of classical art. He also dedicates himself to large canvases and tapestries that belong to the theme "Affabulando", "Oltre la hedge", "Satyricon 2016" and "Action" where he freely uses all the languages of his time and the past mixing them with cinema, comics, cartoons and satire.

This is how a painting is configured in which abstract-expressionist elements emerge, whose sign strength recalls training on the models of the past. The communicative energy explodes in the alternations and overlaps of colors, where the interior traces impose themselves on the exteriority of the painting through the substantial sintering of the energetic gesture. Emotional, gestural, strong and decisive painting, predisposed to captivate the viewer's gaze.
